Rehabilitation and updating of two domestic wastewater pumping stations in Mani-utenam.

A first domestic wastewater pumping station at the intersection of De l'Église and Innu streets will require equipment replacement and the installation of a septic tank with a capacity of approximately 7,000 liters and an overflow to Shakaikaniss Creek. A connection point with electrical inverter will be provided in the pumping station to enable connection of a mobile generator in the event of a power failure.

A second domestic wastewater pumping station at the intersection of rue de l'Église and rue Montagnais will be completely demolished and rebuilt. The new pumping station will be equipped with a septic tank with a capacity of approximately 7,000 liters and an overflow to Shakaikaniss Creek. A connection point with an electrical inverter will be provided in the pumping station to enable connection of a mobile generator in the event of a power failure.

Latest update

April 30, 2025 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The authority is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
