O'Chiese First Nation New School Road Culvert Replacements and Installation Project

O'Chiese First Nation is proposing to install and upgrade undersized culverts along New School Road. The 4 replacements and 1 installation will be used to meet hydraulic capacity, reduce outlet velocities, and stabilize inlets/outlets with riprap and engineered aprons. The project will include associated roadway reconstruction at each crossing and inlet/outlet protection.

Latest update

April 2, 2026– Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments O'Chiese First Nation New School Road Culvert Replacements and Installation Project until May 2, 2026 respecting the determination.
