339 Muskrat Street Accessory Dwelling (Town of Banff 25DP117)

Addition of a one-bedroom second storey accessory dwelling on top of existing accessory building (workshop constructed in 2011), maintaining the existing footprint, foundation, and first storey workshop and re-using the existing scissor trusses and some trim (e.g. cedar brackets) if possible. A deck and stairs will be added to allow direct access to the suite. No excavation is anticipated beyond what is required for footings to support the second storey deck and stairs. No tree pruning or removal is proposed but several trees are located in close proximity to the project. Utility services are already in place to the workshop, and it not anticipated that any upgrades or replacement will be required to service the added accessory dwelling.
