Sidney Operations Centre Fuel System and Dock Replacement

The proposed project involves the replacement of the existing marine fuel storage and dispensing system and marine docks at the Sidney Operations Centre within Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. These facilities have reached the end of their service life and require replacement to ensure marine operations can continue to function safely and efficiently. The dock layout will remain largely unchanged, with the replacement of existing piles and the potential installation of one additional pile. Parks Canada will complete a Basic Impact Assessment to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential environmental and cultural impacts associated with the project.
