Northumberland County Submission – draft Integrated Tailored Impact Statement Guidelines (ITISG)

Attached is Northumberland County’s formal submission regarding the draft Integrated Tailored Impact Statement Guidelines (ITISG) for the proposed New Nuclear at Wesleyville Project, submitted on behalf of Northumberland County Warden Bob Crate and Council.

The submission reflects the County’s role as an upper-tier municipality with responsibilities for regional infrastructure, transportation, paramedic services, emergency management, housing and homelessness services, land use planning, and economic development. It outlines a series of recommendations intended to strengthen the draft ITISG to better reflect the scale, complexity, cumulative effects, and regional implications of the proposed project within a two-tier municipal framework. The comments are intended to support a comprehensive, transparent, and evidence-based impact assessment process.
