Notice of required information and studies complete

Ottawa – April 20, 2026 – The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) has determined that Webequie First Nation (proponent) has provided the information and studies set out in the Notice of Commencement for the Webequie Supply Road (the project), located in Ontario. IAAC focused its review of the information and studies provided by the proponent on key issues relevant for decision making, specifically adverse federal effects and the positive benefits of the project, as set out in IAAC's letter to the proponent.

In accordance with section 28(1) of the Impact Assessment Act, IAAC is preparing a draft impact assessment report including its analysis and conclusions. The draft impact assessment report, once prepared, will be posted for public comment.
