The Proposed Project
The project involves the installation of a new weather station, located near the junction of lanes 700 and 710 of the YUL airfield. It will replace the existing station that must be relocated due to work on the taxiways.
The project essentially consists of:
- Putting in place underground pipes, poles and supports for the installation of the measuring equipment (rain gauge, thermometer, anemometer, etc.);
- Installing a power supply line dedicated to the weather station.
The installation will preserve the vegetation of the area used.
