Renovation of a wastewater pumping station in Unamen Shipu – Public Comments Invited
March 17, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Renovation of a wastewater pumping station in Unamen Shipu, located in Unamen Shipu is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, the authority is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
The pumping station located on Chemin de Gethsémani in Unamen Shipu will require renovation work; the cold drinking water system, the control system, and the plumbing and ventilation fixtures will be replaced. The air ducts and the cold drinking water system will be insulated, and the ventilation systems will be balanced
