Notice of intent to make a determination

Upper Similkameen - Water System Upgrades – Public Comments Invited

January, 23, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada must determine whether the proposed Upper Similkameen Indian Band - Water System Upgrade located in Chuchuwayha I.R. No. 2 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada are inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

Written comments must be submitted by February, 22, 2026, to the BC Environment Team - Indigenous Services Canada.
