Pays Plat First Nation: Lot Servicing (20) for Future Houses – Public Comments Invited

October 3, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed lot servicing for Future Houses Project, located in Pays Plat First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

Pays Plat First Nation proposed this project to clear, service and prepare 20 lots to accommodate future houses. Each lot is planned to be 30 m x 60 m (1,800 m²) within the community. Physical activities include earthworks related to site preparation and clearing, access road development, lot grading and drainage, service extensions, and hydro connection.
