The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which consists of the dismantling and removal of the redundant five-hundred-foot antenna structure, along with all associated infrastructure. This includes the disconnection of the supporting guy wires, co-axial cables, and power cables, as well as the removal of the associated guy wire anchor points. In addition, the single-storey building located at the base of the antenna structure will be demolished, and the existing earth berm will be removed to match the existing grade.
