The Proposed Project

Syscomax proposes to rehabilitate the existing infrastructure at the de-icing centre and build new glycol recycling facilities at YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel.

These facilities will include a new industrial building, a dome housing two tanks with a total capacity of 3,000 m3 and a glycol recycling system located on lot No. 5 839 285 of the cadastre of Quebec, on Service Street A-3 at YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel. The floor area of the future building will be approximately 1,580 m2. It will have one floor with a mezzanine, offices, a garage and will not have a basement. The floor area of the future dome will be approximately 850 m2. New paved areas and parking will also be provided. Trees will be planted along the curb and a white roof will cover the building. The building will house Aeromag 2000 YMX's de-icing trucks and new glycol recovery and recycling facilities.

Various services to enable the recycling and feeding of glycol will be routed from this building to the YMX de-icing centre. The north bay of the de-icing centre will be rehabilitated and expanded to optimize de-icing operations. Finally, the existing storage building at the de-icing centre will be demolished and the operation tower will be renovated.

No streams, trees or status species are present on the sites.
